S Q U I S H Y
This illustration was commission by Serif to accompany their official release of Affinity Designer 1.7 early in 2019. The brief was simple - create an exciting illustration using only Affinity Designer to showcase what I can do with the app.
The artwork file accompanied the release of Update 1.7, along with other sample artwork by some really talented creatives. The purpose of releasing the open sample files is to show new users how seasoned creatives approach their work within the app. You can zoom in to see all the details, and flick through the layers to reveal how the artworks/designs were put together from the ground up.
If you currently own Affinity Designer (on Desktop or iPad) you can access this file and many more in the 'Samples' section on the home/welcome screen.
Already being an avid user of Affinity's software, this was a really exciting project to have been a part of, and, as always, a huge honour to have my work showcased alongside so many talented creatives!
