A paper-cut based illustration book, visualising the nonsense words in the poem 'Jabberwocky' by Lewis Carroll. The book draws from the idea of the poem having layers, with the illustration in each panel corresponding to its respective verse.

The layered style creates an air of mystery. As the book unfolds, the eye of the Jabberwocky beast is revealed. The black and white approach was intended to be evocative of old fairytale illustrations.

The illustrations are detailed in order to explain the meaning of the 'nonsensical' words. A micron and a precision knife were the tools used to achieve this.
