Sexploration is a collection of 5 games in french
about sexual education destined for teenagers.
During my studies of graphic design, I realised that teenagers in France didn’t have much access to sexual education:
schools hardly organised any moments aiming to teach them, associations doing sexual health prevention didn’t have enough resources, and the tools used were often old and dull looking.
Then I decided to create games that are fun, colourful, positive, inclusive and without any taboos!

1- The contraceptives range
After the game you will know 13 different contraceptives and how they work!
You can play this game two different ways:
• Select the 13 cards with the illustrations, and place them on the right part of the female or male body. Do you know how this contraceptive works on the body?
• Place all the cards face down, and try to find pairs for each contraceptive: you need to gather the illustration, with the description, the frequency of use and the practical efficiency.
Do you know what's the difference between the vaginal ring and the diaphragm?
2- The STDs - true or false
After the game you will be able to know more about STDs, how they are transmitted, how you can protect yourself from them, and where you can get tested.
This game contains 55 cards, each with a statement. Then you have to answer true or false, and check your answer on the back!
Do you know if mosquitos can transmit HIV?
3- The consent roleplay
This game aims to understand what is consent, in everyday life but also in our emotional and sexual life.
One player can choose in the “questions” cards, the others in the “answers” cards.
The one asking the questions has to tell whether the other players consent or not. If he/she/they is not sure, he/she/they can start a conversation, without pressure of course!
If I shrug my shoulders, do I consent?
4- The game of privileges
This game will help you understand what are privileges and discriminations.
Each player picks a “character” card: they needs to incarnate it.
For example: you are Louis, you are white, bisexual, love working out and you are in a wheelchair.
The game master will read some statements: if you think your character access to that privilege, you step forward, if not, you stay still.
For Louis, is it easy to move in the city?
5- It's not taboo
You will learn a lot of new words and will be able to talk better about your feelings and your sexuality.
In order to be able to move on the board, you need to make your team mate guess a maximum of words in the allotted time.
There are 5 categories: sexual orientations and gender identities, sexual practices, feelings and pleasure, protection and prevention and anatomy!
You don’t know the word? Don’t worry, there is a lexicon.
