Rali de Santo Tirso '19

The "Rali de Santo Tirso is a part of the Portugal Rally circuit, and takes place every year across the country.

In 2018, I developed the poster for the event. It was the second event graphic image I had ever created for this city. I tried to bring some of the usual "rally" imagery while adding angles to the typography and some stripes to convey the concept of tracks and movement.

Although I was satisfied with some aspects of this poster, I noted down several things I wanted to improve upon in 2019.

2018's concept was very low on flexibility

For 2019's edition, and with the base strategy already jotted down, I decided it was time to push the concepts further: the poster needed more movement and dynamism, the colors needed to be more exciting, the strategy for placing the logos smarter, and the system needed to be more flexible for the different types of media applications and formats.
