This is a publication aimed at young designers that gives a pessimistic insight into how clients can source/ create design without needing to comission a designer, but then opposed by the optimistic ideals od Modernism. 

The publication uses a custom typeface I created called 'Bother' using stick and ink to illustrate the post-modern, D.I.Y topics that are covered in the book.

 

Accompanying posters that illustrate some of the key points raised in the publication such as undervaluing work; the shallowness of trends; clients sticking their beaks in and the lack of rewards for design competitions.
