In 2018, the Trás-os-Montes Inter-County Community opened a contest for its graphic identity. The key element was the development an umbrella brand that could increase the region's international presence.
The entire concept revolves around the idea of bringing "Trás-os-Montes" (Portuguese for "behind the mountains") "à frente" (ahead/in front of). The logo's signature acts as the slogan throughout its various materializations. The graphic elements that add depth to the communication media sprout from the logo itself.
