Portugal - Sun and Sea

Portugal
This first shot was taken overlooking Praia Da Ursa next to the most westerly point in mainland Europe - Cabo da Roca.  The waves were as fierce as the rock formations with a tricky path down to the water.
We spend quite a lot of time in Lisbon city, walking around, eating and drinking - and enjoying the swings.
We travelled south to the Algarve where we paddled our way into Benagil Caves near Lagos and Portimao. Sadly it was very busy which takes away a little from the spectacle of these huge caves and incredible rock formations.
Sintra had a climate of its own.  When it was 25 degrees in Lisbon, you could guarantee that it was 10 degrees colder at the top of the mountain and almost always covered in cloud by the afternoon.
Berlengas island.  An incredible fishing island about half an hour by speed boat from Peniche town.  This fort is now sadly a hostel and bar.
We waited almost three weeks to catch such an amazing sunset as there was inevitably lots of haze at night.  This was Praia do Guincho.
