Beaubourg Theatre Co. is a theater company in the heart of the city of New Orleans that's committed to developing new works by local artists and foregrounding the historically sidelined voices of women and people of color and exists to forge new visions in the shadow of New Orleans’ deep and often-forgotten theater history. Their aim is to elevate theater in New Orleans at the technical, educational, and spectacular levels through providing safe, clean, well-equipped and supportive spaces for artists to work.

The logo that I created for them was because they were looking for a logo that encapsulated the nature of their theater and company. Sophisticated, represented by the triangle itself, but always changing and never quite complete, as represented by the non-connecting lines of the triangle.

I was tasked with coming up with a branded poster for one of their upcoming play, "John" by Annie Baker. I decided to use the logo, the triangle, and elongate the lines so that the poster could still feel on brand but also as a way to cleanly divide the necessary information they wanted to include such as the showtime, cast, author and director and at the end, placed an image in the middle.
