The Brief:
After the sensation of „The Walking Dead”, the creators made a spinoff called „Fear The Walking Dead” in 2015, in order to show the antecedent of the original series. Since then, the fans of the series have been in uncertainty and constant tension how and when will the new story connect to the original. original The Walking Dead video footage.
About the movie:
We have two series that are in the same world, in the same story, but at two different times. It’s finally happening, what the fans have been waiting for 3 years – the story lines and the times come together. That’s why we decided to use the time as a metaphor in our movie. The are two clocks in the movie, which represent the before and the after. The moment when they’re synchronized shows that from here the stories go on together. The ticking sound and the countdown are all film elements, which one hand increase the tension, on the other hand make a teaser-like atmosphere. In the absence of original footages, the zombie shadow the passes before the clock gently reflect on the story, and with the strong sound effect, we scare the viewers, so at the end we get a catchy, memorable teaser.
