BRIEF
The HIIT Bottle™ is the result of passion for innovation, fitness and urban lifestyle. It is the first multi-purpose bottle engineered to be a permanent solution for conventional, unreliable-plastic bottles. HIIT Bottle is a lifestyle brand that offers practical and sustainable way to consume protein shake.
PROBLEM
Protein shaker in the market were made with cheap materials and were not built to last. Complaints from consumers were not properly addressed that made existing solutions in the market unreliable and unsustainable. HIIT Bottle™ aims to provide a solution that addresses all of these issues.
OUTCOME
A successful crowdfunding project that generated over $170,000 in total funding. HIIT Bottle™ not only solves a common problem that fitness enthusiasts encounter in their liquid diet routine, it also empowers them with a product that enables them to feel engage in the active community.
DESIGN PROCESS
There was nothing more insightful than being in the users' shoes and experiencing products from their perspective. I decided to join 24-Hour Fitness and started drinking protein shakes to get a first hand experience of using shaker bottle. Through a short but insightful 10 days research, I synthesized information and feedback from workout partners to form a solution that could address the problems with protein shakers. Furthermore, I realized that consuming protein shake is not only about optimizing your protein intake, but it has also become a lifestyle for the active community. HIIT Bottle™ needed to be a complementary item the users will carry at all times to the gym, office, school, or at home. Thus, I knew that I needed to design a uniquely stylish, reliable, durable, and versatile shaker bottle that the users can highly depend on to go through their daily normal routine.
