This was my first experiment with bringing my designs into Illustrator
To create this initial concept, I used the pen tool to draw the outlines and used the fill tool to colour the rope. To add the white gaps inbetween each colour, I increased the weight of the stroke.

After playing around with a few concepts on Illustrator, I came to this logo. I was really happy with this design but felt like it still needed work.
This was my final concept. Initially the logo was two flat colours, but during this project I was experimenting with textures. Therefore, I added a water effect to my two-colour logo and was really happy with the result.
As I started creating the business cards, I really wanted to include some letterpress letters on Craig's card. I used a selection of letters I had already scanned in to create the background of Craig's card.
