FUSA Typeface
Design of Fusa, a regular typography for paragraphs and headlines, inspired by the concepts of “musical nomenclature”, “classical music” and “writing”.
The name of Fusa comes from the musical figure demisemiquaver, which corresponds to a musical time value, a sound.
Based on these concepts I created a typefont that embodied the geometrical features of musical writing, especially its forms, its endings, its collars and its thicknesses, including the contrasts between stems and note heads.
