The Simple Be project stems from the friendship between three designers, Elisabetta Coccioni, Martina Fagiani and Andrea Gross Gaiani, and their desire to create a timeless and unique accessory. Simple Be BASIC is hand-made in Italy, using the highest quality materials with respect for the environment and local traditions.

Simple Be BASIC is hand-made in Italy, using only the highest quality materials with respect for the environment and local traditions. Each bag is crafted entirely by hand in Monte Urano, a small town nestled in the beautiful hills of the Marche. This region is known for the expert craftsmanship in leather-working, where expertartisans honour tradition and provide indepth knowledge of the materials employed, combining traditional methods with state of the art manufacturing technology.
Simple Be is manufactured using only naturally soft, unsanded and unpolished full-grain leather (the finest selection of hides). This process preserves the grain surface and original features of leather, including durability and breathability properties. We exclusively employ vegetable tanned leather, which is processed using only water, lime, and tannins extracted from wood according to the ancient traditional method. This manufacturing process guarantees a low environmental impact (no heavy metals are employed during tanning) and a lower risk for allergies.

Reinforced stitching on the handle and straps guarantees maximum endurance even when the bag is overloaded.

The first edition of the Simple Be LIMITED series is made in collaboration with Fredrik Färg and Emma Marga Blanche.
FÄRG & BLANCHE is a Swedish-French design studio based in Stockholm, founded by Fredrik Färg and Emma Marga Blanche. The studio designs and produces exclusive furniture and has been working with galleries in New York, Milan and Tokyo. The duo also work with furniture and lighting companies such as Gärsnäs, Materia, David Design and Zero and is acknowledged for its ability to combine Scandinavian purity with a playfulness that is exuberantly joyful.
