Anastasiya Milova's profile

Toronto International Film Festival 2019 | TIFF19

The Toronto International Film Festival is one of the world’s largest publicly attended film festivals, with hundreds of films shown over 11 days in September, annually. TIFF’s mission is to transform the way people see the world through film.

The films shown at the festival are divided into 14 Programmes, including Contemporary World Cinema, Short Cuts, Docs, and Gala Presentations. The concept for the 44th Toronto International Film Festival created unique identities for each Programme. The identities were applied to their respective Programme’s branding while also coming together to form the festival’s overarching design, much like the festival brings together diverse filmmakers, cultures, and ideas in Toronto each September.

The result was an engaging, playful, and versatile identity represented across digital, print, video, and moving image platforms.
