TASMANIAN SHELLS BOOK
Design and layout of a pocket size book detailing the different Tasmanian shells used in traditional and contemporary shell necklace making. It is the most significant cultural tradition of Tasmanian Aboriginal women. It is also one of the few traditions that have continued without interruption since before the European colonisation of Tasmania in 1803. Made for Karadi Aboriginal Corporation, an inclusive Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation, providing leadership in the sector and serving Aboriginal people and their families in achieving strong cultural identity, good health and quality of life.
