Another school project. The task was to create kind of logo or monogram with few variations, using only my name initials and some existing font.

As I'm obsessed with smooth and simple lines, I was aiming for simple one-colored monogram. While browsing internet to get the right font, I've been inspired by monogram of J.R.R. Tolkien. I love the world of Lord of the Rings and Tolkien's monogram impressed me by it's simplicity and complexity simultaneously, as his stories. After few atempts, I finally choosed free-to-use font 'Californian FB'.

During the process of creating my own monogram I was keeping in my mind, as James Hetfield would say, "The beauty lies in simplicity". I've took my initials, put them next to each other and overlayed them with white versions of them. After moving them, the white letters made nice gaps in between the black letters. Few little changes were made and the monogram was ready.
