San Francisco Architectural Landmarks

Golden Gate Bridge, is a suspension bridge connecting the Pacific Ocean & the San Francisco Bay. It was named by U.S. Army officer John C. Frémont. It is one of the most beautiful, certainly the most photographed bridge in the world. The bridge was almost painted black & yellow for a better visibility before the consultant architect refuted and settled on International Orange.
Embarcadero Center is a commercial complex of five office towers, two hotels, an underground shopping center with more than 125 stores, bars and restaurants, two movie theaters, and fitness center on three levels.
One of the classic building which adds to the beauty of San Francisco's skyline. It was designed to be the headquarters of the company Transamerica and is situated at the gateway to San Francisco's Financial District and is compromised of one full city block.
The building is crowned with a pyramid shaped spire that has a crystal light on its end. It gets its pure white colour because of being covered in crushed white quartz.
