A friend of mine asked for a cinephilic lamp for her husband. I made a rough visualisation and we went on.

 

It had to be a floor lamp. I bought an old tripod from a junkman, refreshed it and conected to the base of future head.

This is where romance starts =)

ah, wait! romance starts with soldering, of course!

There are bolts inside my head. They connect 2 sides of the head and provide easy dismantling.

Wooden parts are fully hand-made, no cnc this time.

Plexiglass bent with thermostring and sanded for matting.

Finished, on the spot, works!

To show how huge screw nuts i put on the exterior actually fit the original metal parts of the tripod.
