Hi there! Here's a story for L'Officiel Lithuania about the conscious fashion and it's visual expression.
I had a thought lately, that the new wave of more conscious and sustainable fashion, besides doing a really positive impact on the industry, is also doing an impact on fashion photography. I know, the visual - photography - part is not the main focus of this wave; but that's why it's interesting to challenge myself to focus on it for a second and reach for a slightly different form of it than the one that is slowly spreading in the industry (natural, gentle, subtle style).
We used Lithuanian designers pieces, which were all reused and before in their lifetime had a different form in one way or another. And for that we used the symbolic location, Danesa sewing and material shop.
Oh, and we were also dealing with some pretty low light. So check the before/after section in the end to see the helpful touch of photoshop.
