During the Fall 2019 semester, the beginning of my junior year, I took on an internship with the athletics department at my school, Seton Hill University. My primary task was to create the graphics for every game, match, or meet the athletics teams had. Upon my initiative, the graphics were created to be sized for both Instagram and Twitter posts.

Throughout the year, the original graphics package has proven to be flexible enough to adapt to a few issues that arose. The lack of formal, posed photos for the football team and equestrian team required a slight rework in some parts of the graphics. The football team had some videos from which I could screenshot a frame for a still graphic. As for the equestrians, I was provided with a few action photos to use in lieu.

At the beginning of the season, I had been making a graphic for every single event. Especially on Saturdays, there could be up to 7 different events. In order to streamline the graphics both for viewers to get the information they may need quicker and easier, and make the design process easier on the back end, there is now one single graphic to cover multiple events in a single day.

I was fairly ambitious when beginning this internship, and quickly decided to take a stab at some motion graphics. The results turned out great, and ultimately I decided on using motion graphics for home game day graphics, and remain with stills for road games. Also among the motion graphics are simple "Griffs Win" graphics to be posted after a victory.
