It was the first part of my visit to Greenland back in March 2014. The photos were taken around Kangerlussuaq (Søndre Strømfjord) as part of my early days landscape photography. The visited places included Lake Fergusson, Russel Glacier and the edge of the Greenland Ice Sheet. The weather was surprisingly good (at least during daytime) thanks to the so-called arctic-desert climate of the area. Sometimes the temperature went up to almost 0 °C and it felt even warmer because of the power of the arctic sun. In contrast, as soon as the sun went below the horizon, the temperature quickly dropped around -25 °C. Just like a real desert, isn't it?
