This book implements my knowledge of design with the elements of David Carson’s striking style. His anti-grid style created a fun problem. I solved this by utilizing his layered type and imagery techniques. Using this technique, allowed me to focus on the overall communication of the book rather than the legibility of the work which was very important to this successful designer.
