I chose to do my project on Nike. I knew that I wanted to design a shoe, and the Nike Air Force 1 is a classic one from my childhood. I thought the shoe as a whole should remain white, but the logo I tried various colors that I thought would pop out on the white canvas. The layering design of the logo on the shoe makes me think of movement. I chose colors based on what looked good next to each other; some are very bright while others are subdued. My favorite color combination was the one with the pink background and the teal and gold Nike logo. I also really enjoyed the gold and purple combination because those are my high school colors. I wanted there to be a color combination that everyone could relate to and would want to put on their feet. The background colors help to make the white shoe pop out on the page.
