I recently took a trip to the Bonneville Salt Flat. Located near the border of Nevada and Utah, the Bonneville Salt Flat is often used for speed racing during the summer when it's dry. Since I live in Utah, I have made the 2-hour trip to this location multiple times and I have walked away with some beautiful landscape photographs each time even though it's not always the perfect weather every time.
The weather during this trip was rainy and wet but thankfully, the rain had stopped temporarily while I was there. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, so I had to use my phone's tiny job but with the manual setting available, I believe it did the job.

I did not love the color version of these photographs. The sky was gray and it seemed like no matter what I do, I was just making everything worse. So I decided, why not turn these into black and white, at least in black and white, I can showcase the texture in the mountains and the clouds.
