Throughout the Summer of 2019, I worked as a design intern at Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) Global in Milwaukee, WI. It was an absolute honor to work at a Fortune 500 company leading the way in financial technology.
During my time at FIS, I worked with a team of experienced design professionals and software developers to create intuitive user interfaces for their products. My responsibilities within the team involved doing research, creating mockups based on that research, attending regular meetings, and documenting design decisions. Throughout my internship I used software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, and Microsoft Office Suite. I became proficient using Microsoft Teams and Skype for online meetings. At the end of my internship, I led a meeting covering what I had learned while interning at FIS to a committee of my coworkers and supervisors.
