We had a chance to collaborate with Gears 5 team on the opening title cinematic at Elastic with creative director Noah Harris. The dramatic visuals were inspired by 19th century English Romantic paintings; each of the scenes was designed to feature the human body in the scale of massive landscape. As the world breathes and screams, it struggles and eventually devoured by its own nightmare. 
Design and art direction frames were created in Cinema 4D, and then moved on to Maya CG production with A52 team at Elastic.
