Enigma
Alternative Editorial & Imaging | 2019
Editorial design for a hypothetical self-referential autobiography. The project included the design of a cover & a double page chapter spread.
Taking on a coffee table/ pictorial type book, the metaphorical story follows the adventures of Seymour Visscher as he tries to understand the disappearance of the enigmatic Sea People. The tale recounts my personal trials and tribulations faced while growing up, and the ultimate acceptance of self awareness, with an odd fascination for the weird and wonderful of nautical folklore.
Tritoni in panic
In recent years, off the coast of Italy, the elusive Sea People had seemed to abandon the port town of Tritoni on a great scale, leading to a rising tide of panic and dark suspicion amongst the locals. Will this foretell the future, signifying the advent of change? Seymour Visscher, a cetologist, is urgently summoned to the small harbour town to investigate. Becoming feverishly intrigued by the stories and mysterious artefacts, he is determined to uncover the reason for their disappearance. Enthralled in adventure and magic, appearances are not always as they seem.
