This project was focused on spotting and creating trends found within the Fall 2019 Couture Runways. The looks below were pulled from designers such as Fendi, Guo Pei, Iris Van Herpen, Azzaro, and Alberta Ferretti. The trend spotted was named "Contained Fluidity" and captures the essence of free flowing movement while still maintaining a structured silhouette.   

After presenting our trends we were assigned another classmates trend board. Combining both trends together we were to create a new concept and four piece ready to wear collection.

Lucid Dreaming 

       This new concept combines the free flowing ideas from "Contained Fluidity", and the space between consciousness from "Dormiveglia". The thought behind "Lucid Dreaming" is that you are conscious during your dream, and get to dictate the path you take. 

The designs focus on asymmetrical volume while also combining a sense of structured fluidity at the same time. The color palette also encapsulates the dreamlike fantasy while maintaining a more muted tone.
