Freakshow Package Design
This package design was done for an illustration class; we were given a new empty tin and had to design what would go inside. Thinking about everything that could fit inside of a tin, my mind thought of a flea circus to give content to something that doesn’t exist. I always have loved vintage circus and sideshows and thought it could be fun to create a brand identity with that content. Researching older sideshows, I created my characters in grayscale to give it that vintage flair. The design choices made came from old circus flyers and posters with a standard color scheme of gold and red. The typeface was a display font with a circus feel. I wanted to be literal and cliche as a brand decision. With bold colors and witty characters, every component works together to be successful.
