Volitopodidae — Recreating the unexisting species
A long time fascination towards colorful and otherworldy underwater creatures led me to create Volitopodidae: the family of 3 species; Cephalophalli punctulatum,
Rhytidermus cyanogaster and Glutinopus electricus. These explorations of subtle movements and lively patterns were created using VR sculpting and VR motion capturing.
The names of the 3 species were created using the Binomial nomenclature (two-term naming system) that is necessary when naming new discovered species.
