Last year, I wrote, illustrated and designed a book for my girlfriend on our fourth anniversary. This year I decided to give her another one, but this is an (over 60 pages) interactive book using Spotify codes to set a theme for some of the pages. What you see here is a small percentage of the gift I gave to her since a lot of what it contains is deeply personal and this is the stuff I would like to show to my friends and people who follow my work.
I hope you enjoy it and - just like a few people told me about the first book - it inspires people to give an extra mile when showing love to a special person.
To have a theme for many situations I had on the book and avoid copyright complaints for using music when posting content to social media, I used scannable Spotify codes.
The book is also a big tribute to my favorite comic book of all time: Tintin. There's a bunch of references and homage to Hergé's work which has influenced much of my illustration style.
The book also contains some older presents that mean something to my girlfriend, like a Polaroid Snap camera I gave her back in 2015, on her 20th birthday and we have taken over a hundred photos.
I posted some of the content of the first book on Instagram and it ended up in Perú's most important newspaper site.
