Stories from Mumbai is an endeavor to tell stories that happen simulatenous in and around the shadow of the Nirbhaya rape case in Delhi. It deals with conversation about rape, prostitution, candle light marches and suppressed male aggression.
The 25 minute deals with tiny events that slowly move on towards a candle light March. The film was shot in and around IITB using available resources and been treated like an independent film. The sound design and edit were given specific time to learn and understand in telling a story through film as a medium.
