Language Institute
TailorMade Language Training institute focuses on providing Chinese classes to foreign professionals. Rather than using existing textbooks, They developed their own teaching material, allowing them to better adapt content to their pedagogy.
This project is their Level I Mandarin textbook design.
The textbook is as text heavy as it sounds the challenge of the project was to make it look clean, legible, with an easily understandable order and logic.
The book has English, Chinese and pin-yin characters.
There are some characters who are appearing in the dialogues of each lesson, the style is flat, fun and minimal. these characters are drawn by Melisa Madanamootoo.
