Teresita Fronda a farmer and Jennilyn Cordova a housewife who was struck by typhoon Ompong last year September 2018 and how microinsurance help them to sustain their needs.

The story unfolds with Tita Reina reflecting about who she was 10 years ago. She remembered the time when she struggled to make ends meet, “walang wala”, as she mentioned. 

Despite being away from her husband who can give the support that she needs, she independently thrived to make money through doing laundries and ironing clothes for other people. Until a day hope comes - when she was offered to become Microinsurance Agent. Indifferent at first but she thought she might give it a try. 

The story closes as Tita Reina finally embraced her new life as an agent. Reaching quotas and receiving awards she thought she never expected. She eventually overcame little challenges in her personal life, reunited with her husband, and became the source of light and assurance in their small community.
