In 2018, Arter moved into its new building. At its new building, Arter continues to be a sustainable, vibrant cultural hub, making its broad range of programmes accessible to everyone. Having presented 35 exhibitions from 2010 to 2018 at its building on Istiklal Street, Arter moved to its new building in Istanbul’s Dolapdere district in September 2019. At its new building designed by Grimshaw Architects, Arter continues expanding the range of its activities beyond exhibitions to performances and events across many disciplines. Arter’s building has 18,000 square metres of indoor area and features exhibition galleries, performance halls, learning areas, a library, an arts bookstore, and a bistro. Arter brings together artists and audiences through celebration of today’s art in all its forms and disciplines.
