I illustrated children's stories about Paul Bunyan using a wood-cut style that pay homage to Paul Bunyan's lumberjack and wood-splitting identity. I laid out the content in a chapter book for young readers. I used larger text, which is helpful for people learning to read, and pull quotes that are clearly set apart from the paragraph text, so young readers would not be confused. I printed the book on paper with a recycled texture to compliment the wood-focused theme, and I bound the book with a simple saddle stitch.
