Exploring Algorithmic Aesthetics

When you want to create, everything is a medium to create with. I love to explore possibilities of the different media that I come across. This is a series of illustrations created with code and minor retouching in photoshop. I wrote the programs in processing. The program plots a Julia curve and lets the user interactively stamp the curve in different positions. One can control the rotation, the size, the displacement along with the forming parameters of the curve itself.
