Krizo Théâtre
La compagnie de théâtre Krizo Théâtre a fait appel à nous pour dessiner leur brochure présentant la troupe. Nous avons pu exprimer pleinement nos envies, gardant le rouge comme couleur directrice, et mettant en scène la lettre au coeur de la brochure, en rappel à la gestuelle du théâtre. Le rapport fort entre une linéale puissante et une sérif renforce la passion qu’évoque le théâtre. Nous avons couplé au rouge un violet pour le texte courant, et une trame pour les images. Ce traitement en bichromie était initialement destiné à une impression en risographie. Cela permet aussi de minimiser les coûts d’impression du dépliant.
The theatre company Krizo Théâtre called on us to draw their brochure presenting the troupe. We were able to fully express our desires, keeping red as the guiding colour, and staging the letter at the heart of the brochure, as a reminder to the gestures of the theatre. The strong relationship between a powerful linear and a serif reinforces the passion evoked by the theatre. We have paired red with a purple for the current text, and a frame for the images. This bi-colour processing was initially intended for printing in risography. It also minimizes the cost of printing the brochure.
