Espere um Monumento

Espere um Monumento (Wait a Monument – a word play with the expression “wait a moment”) was a fictional event thought out for a Visual Project class at University, under guidance of Professor Takashi Fukushima. The event’s concept is to make the statues of Ramos de Azevedo Square come to life through sound tools, making them tell the story of their making as well as the story of São Paulo at the time they were “born”. This concept's proposal uses the statues’ silhouettes to form a pattern that allows the posters to be put in sequence through wheat paste, a very common technique in São Paulo.
