Contemplation is a scenography that integrates mapping for Yamamoto Yohji's new spring / summer 2017 collection. This project is a contemplative and sensual scenography in a post-nuclear and survivalist non-living universe. Yohji Yamamoto defined his style as: Hiroshima Chic post-nuclear trend.
Contemplation recreate subtly and abstract Hiroshima after the nuclear bombardment. The overall mood is defined by ghostly music and residual voices indicating calm after a storm. A semi-circle illuminated with red suggests the rising of dawn and the beating of a heart, the contemplation of a life that gradually resumes its course. The audience is placed in front of the scenic device, a great distance is established between the elements of the backdrop, he sees the models slowly move towards him until the grazing creating mystery and interrogation along the parade.
