With this video I wanted to explore how well macro imaging presented as an anaglyph. I sought this particular subject for its relevance to my other video works undertaken at this time, as well as my photographic practice. I feel the idea of macro that is intricacy, the immediate and the present worked well with the theme of time and its unstoppable passing. I chose this subject so that I could display the passage of time in seconds, minutes, hours and days all at once; sped up to emphasise the urgency of existence due to its relative shortness.
