Pompeii Ruins
The ruins of Pompeii are an interesting place. For me it was hard to get a sense, or feeling, of how life was before the volcano eruption, a long time ago. So I just saw empty rooms made out of rocks. It is beautiful in its own sterile, bland way, so I thought a grayscale was a good way to represent this neutral liveliness.
