Symantec Rebrand

Symantec is a software company headquartered in the Silicon Valley that specializes in cybersecurity. The company offers integrated solutions to defend and protect information across the web. During the process of transmission and storage of information in computing, data is stored as bits and blocks. The idea of bits and blocks serves as the conceptual foundation for the rebrand. The information should remain secured, but, at the same time, those who have the authority should be able to access such data when needed.

↓  A single, rounded data bit serves as the basic unit for the logo. Four of the data bits come
    together to reveal information.

↓    The use of gradients represents speed and transmission of digital information.

↓    The iconography used in the wayfinding system is adapted from the rounded data bit
      and intersection points.
