Design Studio - Inclusive Design: Caroma Bathroom Design Project
This 2nd year Industrial Design Studio project was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate and gain insight from professional design consultants of Caroma Bathrooms. Caroma hold various design competitions for students, and in this year, the focus was towards Inclusive Design - being able to design a product for users regardless of their physical disabilities. The greatest challenge in this project was to not only consider the constricted needs of users with disabilities, but to also create a design that was seamless for any other user, where visually it did not look like a design that was catering only to disabled users.

Created a 1:1 draft scale model to experiment and gather insight over the inclusivity within the design
Final renders of the water basin design - another feature that was not pointed out in this visual board is the placement of the faucet tap, which is offset in the front corner to allow for easy access for all users
