"hummel Herbst" is the result of a 2 weeks workshop at Burg Giebichenstein - University of Arts and Design Halle back in winter 2014, with the goal to create a stunning reveal of an used object from everydays life. Together with Frederike Weißmann i chose a shoe. We created a Storyboard and thought of musical background. Back then i got permission from Azuruk to use his track Close Encounters for this clip.

While creating the Storyboard we focused on playing with the light as the revealing factor, and not using any 3D or other solutions. By playing around, we discovered several textures, which got heavily affected by the light, creating quite impressive shots.

The light itself came from a Samsung Galaxy smartphone, so it was totally not professional work at all. The camera used is a Panasonic AC-AG90, shot in 60 fps 1920x1080.

After the Storyboard was ready, i cutted the scenes to the beat and made some color corrections with Premiere Pro and After Effects by Adobe. You can watch the result below.
