Ohive is a stool design inspired from the amazing beehive structure from nature. Physical and psychological human factors were considered for the design process of the Ohive stool. The stool is ergonomically designed for the comfort of the users physical body and the psychological pleasure. Ohive is made out of nature friendly materials and for a creative Design based flexible learning space to help influence the design to make the learning space more productive creative and resilient.
Bio-mimicry for the structure of the Design
Honeycomb structure is a mass of hexagonal prismatic max cells built by honey bees. honeybees build their hexagonal cells in order to achieve the best economy of materials. Inspiration for the shape of the design is derived from beehive structure.
