For this project we had to redesign Milk cartons for Sainsbury's, we had to consider the power and effect of branding and heritage of packaging design. We were put into groups of 4, as a group we came to the decision we was going to create flavoured milk, such as: strawberry, blueberry and chocolate. We decided we wanted our target audience for our flavoured milk to target families and young children, which is why we created 3 cute and child friendly characters on the front of our milk cartons, which were created out of geometric shapes to reflect Sainsbury's vintage packaging and to grab our target audience's attention.
I used the site Pinterest to research into existing milk carton packagings and Sainsbury's vintage packaging back in 1960's and 1970's.
