The brief was to design a logo within 2 hours, for the brands 15th birthday 🎁 (not to replace the main logo) and to be in keeping with the brands aesthetic.

My concept is built on a simple yet abstract representation of an outline of a diamond, which is instantly recognisable and to represent the gemstones for the brand. Along the lefthand side, a dotted line to keep a connecting line and gives an elegant feel, in order for the logo to not look too bulky. This broken line, still shows the connection and also allows room for the number to seamlessly join the elements together.

Keeping in with the brands style of fonts, I chose something equally elegant for the 15 and paired it with a modern script, to give a luxury feel. A gradient effect on the logo was used to give a metallic feel. However, the logo would work without this as well.

The logo was finished with a bright sparkle in the left hand corner of the diamond, which if I had more time, I would take the image into motion graphics to ensure an eye catching stand out on the homepage.

For the web banner, I felt birthday confetti would be most appropriate and I also wanted the falling confetti to represent twinkling eye catching gems.
