Projeto gráfico para o livro "Mens Rea: A Cartografia do Mistério", do fotógrafo Mac Adams. O catálogo reúne fotos da exposição homônima ocorrida no Centro Cultural Fiesp, bem como textos literários de diferentes autores.
A exposição apresentou pela primeira vez no Brasil a obra do artista americano Mac Adams, um dos fundadores da Arte Narrativa (Narrative Art), movimento artístico criado por um grupo de artistas em Nova York nos anos 1970.
Este livro une as produções de Adams a textos literários cujos autores foram sugestionados pelas fotografias de suas escolhas. Dessa forma, a narrativa intrínseca ao trabalho de Adams multiplica, como em um jogo de espelhos, seu potencial interpretativo nesse diálogo entre literatura e fotografia.
Graphic design for the book "Mens Rea: The Cartography of the Mystery", by photographer Mac Adams. The catalog brings together photos of the namesake exhibition held at the Fiesp Cultural Center, as well as literary texts by different authors.
The exhibition featured for the first time in Brazil the work of American artist Mac Adams, one of the founders of Narrative Art, an artistic movement created by a group of artists in New York in the 1970s.
This book links Adams's productions with literary texts whose authors were suggested by photographs of their choices. Thus, the intrinsic narrative to Adams's work multiplies, as in a mirror game, its interpretative potential in this dialogue between literature and photography.
