Fluted Ceramic Jug.
This piece is a fully functional hand crafted ceramic jug. This design came from exploring close up images of living organisms the shape of the base reflected one particular image and the 3 dimensional form mirrored this as it grew, creating a fluted body. This piece was hand coiled using white earthernware clay, the decoration features both oxides and underglazes.
